Water Pakistan

In most of south Asia and Pakistan specially , we are flushing untreated filth to streams of no treatment.
and consider it developing sanitation.

I beleive, this is cruel to flush down our filth to down stream
dwellings and think that we are a snitation covered population.

Sanitation by definition is safe disposal of Human Waste, Solid waste
and Hospital waste. So let us stop , think and start a sensible sanitation program.

Treat the waste water , as much as possible before Flushing it down
stream into fresh waters canals, rivers and streams.
Treating water and recovering nutrients will also help save precious soil nutrients being depleted causing low food productivity and high cost of refinishing soil nutrients by fertilizers.

Can any body suggest this is a better choice than open defecation ?
